Pottery Classes

Where clay absorbs your attention and provides a structure for your creativity, students shape and transform raw earth into expressive art through exploration at the wheel and hand-building tables. This is a challenging process that requires patience, practice through repetition, and a willingness to learn a new process with the beginner’s mind. Working with clay becomes a conversation – listening, responding, and allowing the material to reveal itself, then learning to accept, refine, and cultivate rather than becoming disappointed by unexpected results. Guided by the spirit of the armadillo, this studio invites grounding, reflection, and a balance of community connection with parallel play. Bring your patience and your strength and your imagination to class.
